WiFi Scout ("the App") is an Android utility by CLICK Solutions Pro that measures WiFi signal characteristics while you walk and visualizes them as heatmaps with diagnostic information. By installing or using the App you accept these terms.
The App includes 3 free scan sessions per device with all features enabled. Trial usage is counted per device using an anonymous identifier. Attempting to circumvent the trial counter is a violation of these terms.
Purchases made through Google Play follow Google Play's refund policy. If you purchased an activation code directly and it has not been redeemed, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Redeemed codes are refundable only in cases of verified technical failure that support cannot resolve.
You may not resell, redistribute, decompile or modify the App, generate or trade activation codes, or use the App to interfere with networks you are not authorized to analyze. The App only reads information your device is legitimately connected to or can passively hear — use it on networks you own or are authorized to survey.
Heatmaps, positions, areas, interference flags and placement suggestions are estimates produced from phone sensors and WiFi readings. They are diagnostic aids, not guarantees. Actual network behavior depends on hardware, construction and interference beyond the App's visibility. Purchasing decisions (e.g. extenders) remain your responsibility.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CLICK Solutions Pro is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this page. Material changes to license terms will not retroactively reduce an active license.
