1. About This App

WiFi Log Collector Pro is a professional diagnostic tool designed for ISP support centers and field technicians. It enables support agents to remotely monitor a customer's WiFi performance in real time using a secure 6-digit session code. The app is not intended for general consumers and is used exclusively within a professional support workflow.

2. Information We Collect

When a diagnostic session is active, the app collects the following technical data from the user's Android device:

• WiFi Signal Data: RSSI (signal strength), BSSID, SSID, frequency band (2.4GHz / 5GHz), link speed, and TX rate.
• Connection Events: Timestamped log of disconnects, reconnects, roaming events, authentication failures, and signal drops — up to 10,000 entries per session.
• Internet Health: Continuous ping measurements and packet loss percentages to detect outages even when WiFi appears connected.
• Device Information: Device model and Android OS version, used for diagnostic context only.
• Location Permission: Android requires the ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION permission in order to perform WiFi scans. We do not collect, store, or transmit your physical GPS location. This permission is used solely to enable WiFi signal scanning as required by the Android platform.

3. How Data Is Used

All collected data is used exclusively for the purpose of diagnosing WiFi performance issues. Specifically:

• Diagnostic logs are synced in real time to our secure Firebase servers and displayed on the Agent Dashboard.
• The data is visible only to the authorized agent or technician who generated the 6-digit session code.
• Agents may export session data as CSV files for escalation, reporting, or ticketing.
• For On-Site (Field Technician) sessions, automated PDF diagnostic reports may be generated and shared with back-office teams.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Diagnostic session data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the requested support service. Session codes are valid for 7 days from generation. Users and agents have the right to request the deletion of their data at any time by contacting us at the email address below. We will process all deletion requests within 30 days.

5. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share diagnostic data with third-party advertisers or data brokers. Data is processed through the following trusted infrastructure providers only:

• Google Firebase — for real-time data sync and secure cloud storage.
• PayPal / Credit Card Processors — for subscription payment processing. Payment data is handled entirely by the payment provider and is not stored on our servers.

6. Security

All data in transit between the Android app and our servers is protected using SSL/TLS encryption. Access to diagnostic sessions is gated by unique 6-digit codes that expire after 7 days. Our Firebase infrastructure follows Google's security standards for data at rest.

7. Children's Privacy

WiFi Log Collector Pro is a professional tool intended for use by ISP support agents and field technicians. It is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Greece and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union. Users within the EU/EEA have the right to access, rectify, or erase their personal data by contacting us directly.
